2012 Schedules and Prices Available

Seven Seas’ 2012 season dates and prices are now available on our Schedules and Prices page. This season we will have options of series that consist of either 4 or 5 weekends throughout the summer. Like last year, series prices are all inclusive–all you can eat and drink, food, beer, wine, liquor, and unlimited midweek usage. We already have a number of sign ups from last year’s waiting list so hurry up and contact us as soon as possible to reserve your space!

Season Blast Off Party for Our Shares

The Fire Island Summer Sharehouse season is officially set to begin in less than a week as Seven Seas, the premier sharehouse for singles aged 25-35 in Kismet, Fire Island, plans to host its kick off party for all our 2009 shares before the first weekend at the house. The party will take place this Thursday (5/14/09 starting at 8:00 PM at Ben’s place.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up. We are really pleased with the group and are looking forward to a great season together as we blast off into summer 2009! If you didn’t get the invite email to the blast off party with the address and all, please email benandcat@kismetsevenseas.com and we’ll forward you a copy.

The blast off party is also a great place to meet other shares and make trades. If you have not paid your balance yet, please come to the party prepared to settle up. There will be a desk upstairs with welcome packets, liability waivers and the lovely Cat Goddard there to settle tabs, as well as sign up for guest spots and cooking slots. No need to bring anything at all – snack, beer, wine and liquor will be served. Full service starts now!

Mix & Mingle this Thursday

The mercury has been giving us a little taste of summer all week so far and we couldn’t more excited for the season to start. Seven Seas still has limited availability for weekend shares and we will be having a meet up this Thursday at 7:30 at the old standby, Peculier Pub, to meet with new prospects and mingle with our current shares.

If you haven’t gotten your summer plans squared away, now is the time. Spend you summer on the beach with us in Kismet, away from Wall Street, swine flu and MTA fares!

This is our last meet up in April, and after May 1st — we will take payment in full only for shares (no more deposits), so this week is the chance for all you hand-to-mouth rockstars to get your slice!

Even though it is still chilly outside, the early bird gets the worm at Kismet Seven Seas Sharehouse. Joining the house early helps you get dibs on the weekend series that you want most, plus first shot at signing up for guest spots to bring your friends out to the beach with you on popular weekends.

Our next meet up will take place at Revival (129 East 15th Street) on Tuesday, February 10th, from 6:30-9:30pm. We will be UPSTAIRS.

The reservation is under Seven Seas. Follow the signs, or look for Ben and Cat from the photos in the Bios section if you feel lost. Some of our current members will also be milling about so you can chit-chat with them and others who are thinking about spending their summer with us and see if you like the vibe.

Please RSVP if you think you can make it. This really helps us reserve the appropriate space.

Public Google Calendars

Did you know that you can get your Seven Seas activities schedule and calendar of weekends added to Google Calendar or sync with your favorite calendar program without having to re-enter all the dates? It’s easy! Just follow these steps:

Go to the share schedule page that suits you on the web site, either for weekend shares or the midweeks.
Find the embedded calendar and click on the ‘add calendar’ button in the lower right hand corner of the calendar and click on it.
A window should pop up asking you which series to add. Add the series you want and, presto! You’re done.

What’s more is that as our activities schedule fills up, we will add all the events for each day and weekend right to the calendar. That way you’ll always have the weekend’s activity schedule handy. Even if you don’t use google calendar yet, you can sign up for an account for free and then sync that calendar with a wide variety of popular calendar programs, including Outlook, iCal and many others.
