Music Jams

Play an instrument? Bring it!

At Seven Seas, we encourage a culture of jamming. Playing music together is a timeless tradition that brings people together and is a fun evening activity. House managers will bring out some congas and other drums / hand percussion instruments and an acoustic bass. Some of our current members are talented guitarists, and we are looking for more. The jam sessions usually occur in the mid-days or right after dinner before we start dancing and head to the bars. We invite everybody to participate, sing, clap, shake a tambourine, whatever you’ve got. Also, we have been known to strum a few tunes while lounging on the beach. We will make all efforts to get some good fake books to make sure that there are always plenty of sing-alongs to go around.

Instruments are primarily acoustic (although a keyboard player would be great…hint hint), and jam sessions that last until later than 11:00 PM will be moved to the downstairs studio until 1:00 AM when it is bar time! If you know some songs you can teach us, we are all ears!
